McGeoch Technology specialises in the design, engineering,
manufacturing, project management and installation of electrical
and electronic equipment for marine vessels and submarines. From
its headquarters in Birmingham, the company offers a total
solutions package for marine electrical systems.
McGeoch has engineered and supplied electrical equipment for
many frigates, destroyers, off-shore patrol vessels, missile
boats and submarines in projects such as Type 42, 23, 45, LPD,
LPH, Trafalgar and Astute. Equipment such as this forms the very
backbone of the McGeoch business and whilst designed to provide
a long, trouble-free service life, our ongoing support is
unrivalled in the marine industry.
In
1999, McGeoch acquired William White Switchgear to broaden its
capability in naval switchgear. William White, with an enviable
reputation in the market, is now available to offer complete
power management and design solutions for both shipboard and
shore applications.
McGeoch Technology offers leading edge optics and lighting
technology and is committed to retaining its 'best in classą
status for the engineering and supply of lighting and switchgear
to the marine industry.
To
enable us to offer a total solutions package, a range of EMC
Enclosures has been developed. These are now used extensively in
defence applications.
To
support its customers, McGeoch has a team of highly qualified
design engineers, experienced in all aspects of both mechanical
and electrical applications.
Based on the
company's legacy, McGeoch's newly-formed Offshore Division is
taking the traditional range of lighting one huge step further
with the development of specialist units for explosive
atmospheres, using both traditional and LED technology.
