In 1999 William White Switchgear was acquired by McGeoch
Technology bringing with it a vast amount of experience in the
design and manufacture of power distribution and control and
instrumentation panels for warships.
Since then this experience has been applied to both naval and
commercial shipping applications on a truly international basis
and nowadays, McGeoch emergency supply connections can be found
at the heart of critical power distribution systems in many of
the ships and submarines on and under the world's seas and
oceans including the British Royal Navy for whom McGeoch
manufactures emergency power plugs and sockets exclusively.
