McGeoch Technology specialises in the design, engineering, manufacturing, project management and installation of electrical and electronic equipment for marine vessels and submarines. From its headquarters in Birmingham, the company offers a total solutions package for marine electrical systems.

The Design Department is set up to support this manufacture and has a correspondingly wide range of design skills.

Typically working from a client's brief the Design Engineers produce high quality drawings, supported if required by 3D visualisations, for customer approval and manufacture.

Our dedicated Design Department offers wide ranging expertise in the following areas:

	Lighting Fittings (including advice on selection to achieve required lighting levels)
	Electrical Power Distribution Panels
	Electrical Control and Indication Panels
	Electrical Connectors and Looms for specialised applications (Nuclear and Aerospace)
	Couplers and Hose Assemblies for cryogenic and high pressure gases

We can also assist in the definition of a full brief from the loosest of requirements.

The whole design process is regulated by our approved Quality Procedures. As the majority of our output is destined for service in demanding environments (military, nuclear etc.) we regularly commission design proving tests: Mechanical Shock, Vibration, EMC, Environmental (extremes of temperature and humidity) as well as routine tests for safe and correct operation.
